Nicole Dobson Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist

I have particular experience and expertise of working with adults who have learning disabilities and mental health problems.  This includes over ten years’ experience of delivering various psychological assessments and interventions with this client group whilst working in the NHS.  I have also presented to Cognitive Behavioural Therapists working for Bradford District Care Trust (NHS) on how therapy might be adapted for this client group.

I have developed particular skills and experience of bereavement and loss work with adults who have learning disabilities.  I have presented research on this topic at IASID congress and CRUISE bereavement conference.   Experience in this area includes individual and group therapy as well as delivering training for organizations, families and support staff on bereavement and loss.
